Slightly Mad Studios want to put more than 200 tracks and more than fifty locations in Project Cars 2, including tracks in the snow and mud. The game also needs a co-op and a career mode, where it is possible to play as a driver and also as co-pilot. Like the first Project Cars the studio wants to raise the money through crowdfunding. The more money you put on the table the more you get. People who fund more than 100 pounds will see their name back in the game as AI opponent.
The announcement follows quickly after the release of the first Project Cars, which came on the market this spring. It is still unknown when Project Cars 2 will appear, but at the first Project Cars there were years between the first announcement and release. Hopefully they have enough experience and content to release it on time.
Console and PC
Project Cars 2 will be released for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam OS. The first official trailer of Project CARS showed also a release for the Nintendo Wii, but it is clear that a release for the Nintendo console will not happen. Not for the first Project CARS and not for Project CARS 2…
